::: TESTIMONIALS :::
“After almost 10 years of a faithful yoga practice, I became drawn to sitting in meditation. Both practices have brought me peace, but it wasn’t until I began a breath work practice with Christie Di Stefano that my work found a direction. Breath work has become an anchor for me, creating a bridge from yoga to meditation. Christie holds a safe space in which I find a home in myself with each inhale and grounded purpose with each exhale. Her guidance and willingness to accompany us on wherever the journey takes us has enabled me to find rest in the present moment. Christie is both knowledgeable and fearless in her approach to the work. I am beyond grateful to be part of a practice that has deepened my understanding of the mind/ body connection that extends far beyond each time we sit together.” - pranayama & meditation community member, October 2020
There are times when the need for mindfulness is clear. Yet in working with Christie over the past several years, I have learned that the actions we take to center ourselves before the need emerges prove vital both in the day-to-day and in times of growth. Christie is a natural teacher, cultivating an inviting, low-pressure space in which people from all walks are invited to be present and go within. Whether online or in 3D, she takes time to meet people where they are. This, for me, has made all the difference in maintaining my practice. From meditation to breathwork, Christie welcomes each person to tap into their intuition and engage in the way that makes sense for them. Grounded, intuitive, and—most importantly—very real, Christie has made a profound difference in my life both in class and beyond. — Jenn Hall , November 2020
“Developing a breath work practice has been the single most positive thing I’ve done for myself. I know a lot of people have tried breath work and meditation. And maybe you’ve enjoyed it and maybe you haven’t. But I want to clear something up about the practice. Signing up for a breath work class is much like going to the gym in that you might feel some short term benefits the day of your class or maybe even the day after. But it takes dedication and commitment to see any true change. Taking one or two classes isn’t going to change the way you interact with the world around you or the way you relate with yourself. But developing a consistent practice will change everything. There is *tons* of scientific evidence that controlling your breath in certain ways can actually impact the way our autonomic nervous system functions. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are many excellent books and scholarly articles written on the subject of breathing and how conscious attention to the way we breathe can positively impact so many areas in our lives.” - Margie Green, April 2021
